Marie Goyette (she/her) is a writer of literary fiction with a profound love for coming-of-age and sibling stories. She earned her MFA at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Her short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses (2026), Meridian, American Literary Review, The Massachusetts Review, StoryQuarterly, North American Review, and elsewhere. She is co–fiction editor of Literary Mama, and is at work on a novel and a collection of stories.

When she isn’t writing or reading, you can find Marie attempting to create the perfect smoothie, raising Monarch butterflies, going on walks with her family, or playing Wordle (or any of its subsequent iterations) like she doesn’t have anything better to do with her time. Marie lives with her husband, kids, and doggos in Rochester, Minnesota.
